AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to organ donation and anatomical
gifts; prohibiting harvest of organs or tissue
without consent; prohibi ting commercialization of
certain organs or tissue; providing for codification;
and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2200.28A of Title 63, unless
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
No person shall harvest organs or tissue from any adult, minor
child or fetus without the consent of the adult, minor child or
fetus from which the organs or tissue are derived. Such organs or
tissue shall not be commercialized by any person, institution or
other entity.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective No vember 1, 2021.
