7777 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7878 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
7979 codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
8080 The Commissioner of Labor is directed to analyze, evaluate and
8181 develop a timeline and plan for the Department of Labor of items
8282 that will strengthen, automate and modernize the internal
8383 administration and operations and external services and contacts
8484 with the public. As part of the analysis and evaluation of the
8585 Department, the Commissioner shall create a list of areas and /or
8686 items according to their priority and cost to the Department that
8787 will create more measurable efficiencies, better services and
8888 increased cost savings for the state. A written report of the

140140 analysis and evaluation shall be completed by January 15, 2022. A
141141 copy of the report shall be distributed to the Pres ident Pro Tempore
142142 of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the
143143 Governor.
144144 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2021.
145145 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
146146 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
147147 declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
148148 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
