AS INTRODUCED 
 
An Act relating to the Department of Labor; dir ecting 
the Commissioner of L abor to conduct certain analysis 
for certain purpose; requiring list of items that 
create efficiencies; requiring completion of analysis 
by certain date; providing a report; directing 
distribution of report; providing for 
noncodification; providing an effecti ve date; and 
declaring an emergency. 
 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law not to be 
codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows: 
The Commissioner of Labor is directed to analyze, evaluate and 
develop a timeline and plan for the Department of Labor of items 
that will strengthen, automate and modernize the internal 
administration and operations and external services and contacts 
with the public.  As part of the analysis and evaluation of the 
Department, the Commissioner shall create a list of areas and /or 
items according to their priority and cost to the Department that 
will create more measurable efficiencies, better services and 
increased cost savings for the state.  A written report of the

analysis and evaluation shall be completed by January 15, 2022.  A 
copy of the report shall be distributed to the Pres ident Pro Tempore 
of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the 
Governor. 
SECTION 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 2021. 
SECTION 3.  It being immediately necessary for the preservation 
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby 
declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and 
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
