50 | 51 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: |

51 | 52 | | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified |

52 | 53 | | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 40.2 of Title 17, unless there |

53 | 54 | | is created a duplication in numberi ng, reads as follows: |

88 | 90 | | 2. In accordance with existing law, any classified employee who |

92 | 94 | | status. If the employee chooses to remain in the classified |

93 | 95 | | service, the position occupied by the employee shall remain in the |

94 | 96 | | classified service until the employee either vacates the position or |

95 | 97 | | elects unclassified status in writing. All future appointees to |

96 | 98 | | such positions shall be in the unclassified service . |

97 | 99 | | SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021. |
