An Act ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 961 By: Daniels of the Senate and Lepak of the House An Act relating to the Oklahoma Solicitation of Charitable Contributions Act; prohibiting imposition of certain filing or reporting requir ements; clarifying applicability of provisions; providing for codification; and providing an effective date. SUBJECT: Oklahoma Solicitation of Charitable Contributions Act BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Stat utes as Section 552.23 of Title 18, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. Except as required or authorized by federal law, no state agency or official shall impose any annual filing or reporting requirement on an organization regulated or specifically exempted from regulation under the Oklahoma Solicitation of Charitable Contributions Act that is more stringent, restrictive or expansive than the requirements authorized by the laws of this state. B. Requirements of subsection A of this section shall not apply to state grants, state contracts or fraud investigations, and shall not restrict enforcement actions against specific nonprofit organizations.
