44	44		amending 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1366 , which relates to
45	45		the Psychologists Licensing Act ; providing for
46	46		issuance of license by reciprocity; and providing an

52	53		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
53	54		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
54	55		in the Oklahoma Statutes as S ection 1363.1 of Title 59, unless there
55	56		is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
56	57		The Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists may enter
57	58		into and implement agreements with other jurisdictio ns for the
58	59		issuance of a license by recipr ocity if the other jurisdiction 's
59	60		requirements for licensure are substantially equal to the
60	61		requirements of the Psychologists Licensing Act .
61	62		SECTION 2. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 136 6, is
62	63		amended to read as follows:

89	91		Section 1366. The Oklahoma State Board o f Examiners of
90	92		Psychologists may issue a license pursuant to the provisions of the
91	93		Psychologists Licensing Act:
92	94		1. To a qualified applicant who has successfully passe d the
93	95		examination prescribed by the B oard and who has paid the fee
94	96		required by the rules promulgated pursuant to the provisions of the
95	97		Psychologists Licensing Act; or
96	98		2. Upon application to the Board and payment of the fees
97	99		required by the Board by rules of the Board promulgated pursuant to
98	100		the provisions of the Psychologists Licensing Act, t o any person who
99	101		is a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, or
100	102		who holds a current Certificate of Professional Qualification in
101	103		Psychology from the Association of State and Provincia l Psychology
102	104		Boards, or who is licensed as a psychol ogist by a state with whom
103	105		the Board has establi shed a formal written agreement of reciproci ty.
104	106		SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
