5754 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5855 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 63 O.S. 2021, Section 4210.3, is
5956 amended to read as follows:
6057 Section 4210.3 It shall be unlawful to transport a shotgun,
6158 rifle or pistol in or to discharge such weapons a firearm from a
6259 vessel, except for the purposes of self-defense, hunting animals or
6360 fowl, and in compliance with existing state and federal laws.
6461 Anyone violating the provisions of this section, upon conviction,
6562 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of
6663 not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) and not more than One Hundred
64+Dollars ($100.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for not

94-Dollars ($100.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for not
9591 less than ten (10) days and not more than six (6) three (3) months,
9692 or by both such fine and impris onment. Any person in possession of
9793 a valid handgun license from this state or a reciprocal state
9894 authorized by the Oklahoma Self -Defense Act shall not be deemed
9995 guilty of transporting a pistol in violation of this section when a
10096 handgun is carried concea led or unconcealed upon or about their
10197 person in compliance with the provisions of the Oklahoma Self-
10298 Defense Act.
10399 SECTION 2. This act shall become eff ective November 1, 2023.
