An Act ENROLLED HOUSE BILL NO. 1596 By: Worthen of the House and Coleman of the Senate An Act relating to the Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission; authorizing the establishment of official advanced funds; stating purpose; providing for maximum fund amount; establishing certain procedures for certain fund; providing for codification; and providing an effective date. SUBJECT: ABLE Commission BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law t o be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 8-101 of Title 37A, unless there is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows: The Alcoholic Beverage Law s Enforcement (ABLE) Commission is hereby authorized to establish official advanced funds (OAF) for the purpose of supplying its agents with money for enforcement of actions to obtain critical evidence for case presentations. The amount of the OAF shall not exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), and the ABLE Commission is authorized to prescribe forms, systems, and procedures for its administration. The OAF may be reimbursed from time to time by the fi ling of proper claims, accompanied by valid receipts for expendit ures made. SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023. ENR. H.
