5252 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAH OMA:
5353 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5454 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5029.1 of Title 63, unless there
5555 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5656 As used in this act:
5757 1. "Gap period" means the period as of which the Medicaid
5858 program payment system is transitioned over to the managed care
5959 organizations;

8989 A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall examine payment
9090 information data for each service provider to whom the Authority has
9191 made Medicaid payments during the three (3) month payment period
9292 preceding the gap period.
9393 B. The Authority shall ensure payment to all Medicaid service
9494 providers in the Medicaid program for the 15 day period during the
9595 gap period in an amount equal to the average as calculated pursuant
9696 to the provisions of subsection A of this Section divided by the
9797 whole number two (2).
9898 SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
9999 SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
100100 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
101101 declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
102102 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
