50	50	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
51	51	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
52	52	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 215.41 of Title 19, unless there
53	53	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
54	54	When presented with information of judicial misconduct that may
55	55	rise to the level of a misdemeanor or felony offense, a district
56	56	attorney who conducts an investigation into the criminal allegations
57	57	shall, within thirty (30) days of the date of the initial
58	58	investigation and each thirty (30) days thereafter, report in
59	59	writing to the Office of the Governor the purpose and status of the
60	60	investigation until charges are filed or th e district attorney
61	61	declines to file charges.
