5050 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5151 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5252 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 215.41 of Title 19, unless there
5353 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5454 When presented with information of judicial misconduct that may
5555 rise to the level of a misdemeanor or felony offense, a district
5656 attorney who conducts an investigation into the criminal allegations
5757 shall, within thirty (30) days of the date of the initial
5858 investigation and each thirty (30) days thereafter, report in
5959 writing to the Office of the Governor the purpose and status of the
6060 investigation until charges are filed or th e district attorney
6161 declines to file charges.
