AS INTRODUCED 
 
An Act relating to higher education; authori zing the 
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Edu cation to 
allocate funds for certain demolitio n projects; 
establishing maximum limit for amount of funds; 
limiting fund allocations for certain universities ; 
directing allocation of remaining funds; providing 
for codification; providing an effective date; and 
declaring an emergency . 
 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3206.7 of Title 70, unless there 
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows : 
A.  The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education may allocate 
funds appropriated by the Legislature to institutions and entities 
within The Oklahoma State System of Higher Ed ucation for the purpose 
of funding demolition projects. 
B.  The total appropriated funds for the demolition projects 
shall not exceed Thir ty Million Dollars ($30,000,000.00) , and the 
amounts allocated to the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State 
University shall not exceed Ten Mil lion Dollars ($10,000,000.00) per

institution. The remaining funds shall be allocated to other 
institutions and entities within The Oklahoma State System of Higher 
Education for demolition projects. 
SECTION 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 2023. 
SECTION 3.  It being immediately necessary for the preservation 
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby 
declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and 
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
