77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1351 of Title 25, unless there
80	80	is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
81	81	A. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall
82	82	compile and maintain demographic data for all state employees who
83	83	are descendants of persons who were enslaved in the United State s of
84	84	America. The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise
85	85	Services shall promulgate rules as necessary to obtain demographic
86	86	data. Disclosure of lineage history shall be optional for all state
87	87	employees.

139	139	B. No later than December 31, 2024, and every year after, a
140	140	report with demographic data on the number of state employees who
141	141	are descendants of enslaved persons of the United States of America
142	142	shall be made available to the public.
143	143	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
