7777 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7878 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7979 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1351 of Title 25, unless there
8080 is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
8181 A. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall
8282 compile and maintain demographic data for all state employees who
8383 are descendants of persons who were enslaved in the United State s of
8484 America. The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise
8585 Services shall promulgate rules as necessary to obtain demographic
8686 data. Disclosure of lineage history shall be optional for all state
8787 employees.

139139 B. No later than December 31, 2024, and every year after, a
140140 report with demographic data on the number of state employees who
141141 are descendants of enslaved persons of the United States of America
142142 shall be made available to the public.
143143 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
