BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE O F OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 936 of Title 74, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as f ollows: A. Any eligible employer shall have the authority to investigate all current employees or persons who were employed by the state. The eligible employer shall have the respo nsibility to determine a reasonable basis for investigation related to alleged illegal or inappropriate conduct. B. The workplace investigation shall follow a fair procedure. The employer shall no t violate an employee’s reasonable expectation of privacy and the investigation shall be kept confidential. Req. The eligible employer shall report to the proper authorities illegal conduct found during the investigation. D. In addition to the penalty authorized for the illegal conduct, an employee may be found guilty as a result of the employer investigation; upon conviction, the court may deprive the employee of his or her pension o r any part thereof.
