4849 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
4950 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5051 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3251 of Title 70, unless there
5152 is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
5253 A. No institution within The Ok lahoma State System of High er
5354 Education shall accept funds from an individual or entity that is or
5455 has been associated with the Chinese government or the Chinese
5556 Communist Party.
5657 B. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education may
5758 promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this act.
5859 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023.
5960 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
6061 of the public peace, health , or safety, an emergency is hereby
