AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to officers; amending 51 O.S. 2021,
Section 91, which rela tes to officers subject to
removal; adding officers and employees subject to
removal; updating statutory reference ; and providing
an effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 51 O.S. 2021, Section 91, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 91. All state officers not subject to impeachment under
Section 1, Article 8 of the Oklahoma Constitution, and all county,
city, and municipal, and school board officers to include those
elected and those serving in appointed or hired po sitions including
but not limited to school sup erintendents and assistants, city
managers and deputy county commissioners may, in addition to the
methods now and causes provided by law, be removed from office as
herein provided.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
