53 | 44 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOM A: | |
54 | 45 | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | |
55 | 46 | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 427.18a of Title 63, unless | |
56 | 47 | there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | |
57 | 48 | A. The Executive Director of the Oklahoma Medi cal Marijuana | |
58 | 49 | Authority shall promulgate rules to li mit the tetrahydrocannabinol | |
59 | 50 | (THC) serving size of edible medical marijuana products sold in | |
60 | 51 | medical marijuana dispensaries. The serving sizes imposed by such | |
61 | 52 | rules shall be at the discretion of the Executive Director; | |
62 | - | provided, that the limits do not exceed one thousand milligrams | |

95 | 96 | C. For medical marijuana patients eighteen (18) years of age o r | |
96 | 97 | younger, the Executive Director may impose further limits on THC per | |
97 | 98 | serving in edible medi cal marijuana products. No dispensaries shall | |
98 | 99 | be allowed to sell any medical marijuana product for the use of | |
99 | 100 | vaping to any medical marijuana patient eighteen (18 ) years of age | |
100 | 101 | or younger. | |
101 | 102 | D. The Executive Director shall establish rules that require | |
102 | 103 | dispensaries to provide educational efforts to patients regarding | |
103 | 104 | potency, dosing, and pharma cological impacts pertaining to usage and | |
104 | 105 | consumption of medical marijuana and medical marijuana product s. | |
105 | 106 | SECTION 2. This act shall beco me effective January 1, 2025. | |
