AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the Department of Human S ervices;
requiring the Department to reopen certain offices by
certain date; requiring the Department to open
offices under certain condition; and providing for
codification.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as S ection 162.7 of Title 56, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
Not later than January 1, 2024, the Department of Human Services
shall reopen all county or regional offices closed on or after May
1, 2020, that were operating prior to that date. If the property
where an office was located has been sold or leased, the Department
shall open an office as close as possible to that loca tion, and in
no event shall the new office be located outside of a ten-mile
radius from the previous location.
