4975 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5076 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5177 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 7-304.2 of Title 29, unless
5278 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5379 A. After the effective date of this act, twenty thousand
5480 (20,000) acres of the Pushmataha Wildlife Management Area shall be
5581 renamed as the Pushmataha Wildlife Preserve.
5682 B. The purpose of the Pushmataha Wildlife Preserve shall be to
5783 regulate the hunting and preservation of the wildlife and game in
5884 the area in order to further the preservation of Oklahoma’s wildlife
5985 population.
6086 C. The total maximum allocation of funds necessary by the
6187 Department of Wildlife Conservation shall be One Million Dollars

91141 enclosing of the land, wildlife personnel, and all expenses deemed
92142 necessary by the Director for the management of the Pushmataha
93143 Wildlife Preserve.
94144 D. The Department of Wildlife Conservation shall promul gate
95145 rules necessary for the preservation of the Pushmataha Elk Reserve.
96146 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
