77	77	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF RE PRESENTATIVES OF THE
78	78	1ST SESSION OF THE 59TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
79	79	SECTION 1. The Secretary of State shall refer t o the people for
80	80	their approval or rejection, as and in the manner provided by law,
81	81	the following proposed amendment to Secti on 30 of Article II of the
82	82	Oklahoma Constitution to read as follows:
83	83	Section 30. The right of the people to be secure in their
84	84	persons, houses, electronic data and electronic communicati ons,
85	85	papers, and effects against unreasonable searches or seizures shall
86	86	not be violated; and no warrant shall issue but upo n probable cause
87	87	supported by oath or affirmation, describing as particularly a s may
88	88	be the place to be searched and the person or t hing to be seized.

145	145	THE GIST OF THE PROPOSITION IS AS FOLLOWS:
146	146	This measure amends Section 30 of Article 2 of the Oklahoma
147	147	Constitution. This section protects the rights of the people
148	148	against unreasonable searches and seizures . This measure would
149	149	add electronic data and electronic communications to the list of
150	150	items that require a warrant based on pro bable cause to search
151	151	for or seize such items.

155	155	SECTION 3. The President Pro Tempore of the Senate shall,
156	156	immediately after the passage of this resolution, prepare and file
