47	56		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
48	57		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 70 O.S. 2021, Section 3-119, is
49	58		amended to read as follows:
50	59		Section 3-119. A. Funds appropriated to the State Board of
51	60		Education for School Lunch Matching and School Lunch P rograms shall
52	61		be apportioned by the State Board of Education to each school
53	62		district for the purpose of providing meals for children in
54	63		compliance with the Natio nal School Lunch Act and the Child
55		-	Nutrition Act of 1966 and Public Law 91 -248, as they may her eafter
56		-	be amended or supplemented.
57		-	B. In accordance with subsection A of this sect ion, for the
58		-	2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years, school districts shall prov ide
59		-	school meals at no cost to a child who is a member of a household in

	93	+	B. In accordance with subsection A of this sect ion, for the

86	96		which the total annual income during the preceding tax year does not
87	97		exceed an amount equal to two hundred fifty percent (250%) of the
88	98		federal poverty level .
89	99		SECTION 2. This act shall become effecti ve July 1, 2023.
90	100		SECTION 3. It being immediate ly necessary for the preservation
91	101		of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency i s hereby
92	102		declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
93	103		be in full force from and aft er its passage and approval.
