4756 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
4857 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 70 O.S. 2021, Section 3-119, is
4958 amended to read as follows:
5059 Section 3-119. A. Funds appropriated to the State Board of
5160 Education for School Lunch Matching and School Lunch P rograms shall
5261 be apportioned by the State Board of Education to each school
5362 district for the purpose of providing meals for children in
5463 compliance with the Natio nal School Lunch Act and the Child
55-Nutrition Act of 1966 and Public Law 91 -248, as they may her eafter
56-be amended or supplemented.
57-B. In accordance with subsection A of this sect ion, for the
58-2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years, school districts shall prov ide
59-school meals at no cost to a child who is a member of a household in

91+Nutrition Act of 1966 and Public Law 91 -248, as they may her eafter

93+B. In accordance with subsection A of this sect ion, for the
94+2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years, school districts shall prov ide
95+school meals at no cost to a child who is a member of a household in
8696 which the total annual income during the preceding tax year does not
8797 exceed an amount equal to two hundred fifty percent (250%) of the
8898 federal poverty level .
8999 SECTION 2. This act shall become effecti ve July 1, 2023.
90100 SECTION 3. It being immediate ly necessary for the preservation
91101 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency i s hereby
92102 declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
93103 be in full force from and aft er its passage and approval.
