49	58		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
50	59		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
51	60		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1011.20 of Title 56, unless
52	61		there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
53	62		A. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall seek waivers, and
54	63		other federal approvals, that modify the state plan to allow
55	64		Medicaid coverage of women for twelve (12) months after the end of a
56	65		pregnancy.
57		-	B. If either a woman for the duration of her pregnancy and for
58		-	the postpartum period consisting of the twelve-month period
59		-	beginning on the last day of her pregnancy , or a child under one (1)
60		-	year of age, is living in a family that has an income that is at or

	93	+	B. If either a woman for the duration of her pregnancy and for
	94	+	the postpartum period consisting of the twelve-month period
	95	+	beginning on the last day of her pregnancy , or a child under one (1)
	96	+	year of age, is living in a family that has an income that is at or
87	97		below two hundred five percent (205%) of the most current federal
88	98		poverty level, such individual is automatically qualified for
89	99		Medicaid eligibility.
90	100		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
