4043 An Act relating to poor persons; requiring Department

4851 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
4952 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5053 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1020.1 of Title 56, unless there
5154 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5255 Beginning July 1, 2023, t he Department of Human Services shall
5356 report the following information quarterly to the Oklahoma
5457 Legislative Office of Fiscal Transp arency (LOFT) and withi n thirty
5558 (30) days after a request has been made in writing by LOFT :
5659 1. Any payments made to providers in the prior fiscal year for
5760 home- and community-based services for individuals with intellectual
5861 disabilities; and
59-2. A strategic plan for serving more individuals with
60-intellectual disabilities through home- and community-based services
61-including goals and progress tow ard achieving such goals.

8892 SECTION 2. This act shall be come effective July 1, 2023.
8993 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
9094 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
9195 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
9296 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
