An Act relating to poor persons; requiring Department
of Human Services to report ce rtain information;
providing for codification; providing an effective
date; and declaring an emergency .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1020.1 of Title 56, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
Beginning July 1, 2023, t he Department of Human Services shall
report the following information quarterly to the Oklahoma
Legislative Office of Fiscal Transp arency (LOFT) and withi n thirty
(30) days after a request has been made in writing by LOFT :
1. Any payments made to providers in the prior fiscal year for
home- and community-based services for individuals with intellectual
disabilities; and
2. A strategic plan for serving more individuals with
intellectual disabilities through home- and community-based services
including goals and progress tow ard achieving such goals.

SECTION 2. This act shall be come effective July 1, 2023.
SECTION 3. It being immediately nece ssary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
