20	57		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

22	58		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1000.2, is
23	59		amended to read as follows:

25	60		Section 1000.2 A. The Construction Industries Board is hereby
26	61		re-created to continue until July 1, 2023 2026, in accordance with
27	62		the provisions of the Oklahoma Sunset Law. The Board shall regulate
28	63		the plumbing, electrical an d mechanical trades, the building and
29	64		construction inspectors, and the roofing contractors th rough the
30	65		powers and duties set forth in the Construction Industries Board Act

32	94		trades, or as otherwis e provided by law.

34	95		B. 1. Beginning July 1, 2013, the Board shall be composed of
35	96		seven (7) members appointed by the Governor with the advice and
36	97		consent of the Oklahoma State Senate, as follows:

38	98		a. two members shall have at least ten (10) years '
39	99		experience in the plumbing trade, of which one shall
40	100		be a plumbing contractor and one shall be a journeyman
41	101		plumber,

43	102		b. two members shall have at least ten (10) years '
44	103		experience in the electrical trade, of which one shall
45	104		be an electrical contractor and one shall be a

47	106		c. two members shall have at least ten (10) years'
48	107		experience in the mechanical trade, of which one shall
49	108		be a mechanical contractor and one shall be a
50	109		mechanical journeyman, and

53	111		experience as a building and construction inspector.

55	112		2. Members shall be appointed for staggered terms of four (4)
56	113		years, as designated by the Governor. Members shall continue in
57	114		office until a successor is appointed by the Governor. The Governor
58	115		shall fill all vacancies and unexpired terms in the same manner as
