2057 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

2258 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1000.2, is
2359 amended to read as follows:

2560 Section 1000.2 A. The Construction Industries Board is hereby
2661 re-created to continue until July 1, 2023 2026, in accordance with
2762 the provisions of the Oklahoma Sunset Law. The Board shall regulate
2863 the plumbing, electrical an d mechanical trades, the building and
2964 construction inspectors, and the roofing contractors th rough the
3065 powers and duties set forth in the Construction Industries Board Act

3294 trades, or as otherwis e provided by law.

3495 B. 1. Beginning July 1, 2013, the Board shall be composed of
3596 seven (7) members appointed by the Governor with the advice and
3697 consent of the Oklahoma State Senate, as follows:

3898 a. two members shall have at least ten (10) years '
3999 experience in the plumbing trade, of which one shall
40100 be a plumbing contractor and one shall be a journeyman
41101 plumber,

43102 b. two members shall have at least ten (10) years '
44103 experience in the electrical trade, of which one shall
45104 be an electrical contractor and one shall be a
46-journeyman electrician, ENR. H. B. NO. 2810 Page 2
105+journeyman electrician,
47106 c. two members shall have at least ten (10) years'
48107 experience in the mechanical trade, of which one shall
49108 be a mechanical contractor and one shall be a
50109 mechanical journeyman, and

52110 d. one member shall have at least ten (10) years '
53111 experience as a building and construction inspector.

55112 2. Members shall be appointed for staggered terms of four (4)
56113 years, as designated by the Governor. Members shall continue in
57114 office until a successor is appointed by the Governor. The Governor
58115 shall fill all vacancies and unexpired terms in the same manner as
