57	52		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
58	53		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
59	54		codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
60	55		This act shall be known and may be cited as "Lauria and Ashley's
61	56		Law".
62	57		SECTION 2. AMENDATORY 21 O.S. 2021, Section 13.1, is
63	58		amended to read as follows:
64	59		Section 13.1 Persons convicted of:
65	60		1. First degree murder as defined in Section 701.7 of this
66	61		title;
	62	+	2. Second degree murder as defined by Section 7 01.8 of this

158	151		20. Aggravated trafficking as provid ed for in subsection C of
159	152		Section 2-415 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes;
160	153		21. Aggravated assault a nd battery upon any person defending
161	154		another person from assault and battery; or
162	155		22. Human trafficking as provided for in Section 748 of this
163	156		title; or
164	157		23. Accessory to murder in the first degree or accessory to
165	158		murder in the second degree as provided for in Section 175 of this
166	159		title,
167	160		shall be required to serve not less than eighty -five percent (85%)
168	161		of any sentence of i mprisonment imposed by the judicial system prior
	162	+	to becoming eligible for consideration for parole. Persons
