79	79	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
80	80	SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 10 O.S. 2021, Section 1412, is
81	81	amended to read as follows:
82	82	Section 1412. A. The Director of Oklahoma Human Services
83	83	(OKDHS), who shall not be removed from office, except for cause,
84	84	subject to the approval of the Commission for Human Services, shall
85	85	appoint an advisory committee to advise the Commission and Director
86	86	on matters relating to service delivery for persons with
87	87	developmental disabilities.
88	88	B. Such advisory committee shall include among its members
89	89	representatives of state agencies and persons representative of

141	141	professional, civic, or other public or nonprofit private agencies,
142	142	organizations, or groups concerned with services needed by persons
143	143	with developmental disabilities, including the parent-guardian
144	144	association of the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center of Enid, the
145	145	Southern Oklahoma Reso urce Center of Pauls Valley, and families of
146	146	individuals receiving services from the Developmental Disabilities
147	147	Services Division of the Department of Human Services OKDHS.
148	148	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.
149	149	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessa ry for the preservation
150	150	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
151	151	declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
152	152	be in full force from and after its passage and approva l.
