6565 An Act relating to cities and towns; limiting

7373 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OK LAHOMA:
7474 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7575 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 22-117.2 of Title 11, unless
7676 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
7777 The police department of any municipality with a population of
7878 less than five thousand (5,000) persons, according to the most
7979 recent Federal Decennial Census, may only issue fifty (50) traffic
8080 tickets a year.
8181 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
