26	53		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

28	54		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 62 O.S. 2021, Section 34.10, is
29	55		amended to read as follo ws:

31	56		Section 34.10 The Director of the Office of Management and
32	57		Enterprise Services shall cause to be prepared a comprehensive an
33	58		annual comprehensive financial report, in accordance with generally
34	59		accepted accounting principles for governments, and shall further
35	60		have the general purpose financial statements included in the annual
36	61		comprehensive annual financial report audited in accordance with
37	62		generally accepted auditing standards. The Director is hereby
38	63		authorized to establish procedures and guidelines w hich are
39	64		consistent with those issued by the Government Accounting Standards

42	94		purposes of establishing consistent applicat ion of accounting
43	95		principles and to ensure the timeliness of the report.

45	96		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.

47	97		SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
48	98		of the public peace, health o r safety, an emergency is hereby
49	99		declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
50	100		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
