75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
77	77	codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as foll ows:
78	78	This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Prohibition of
79	79	Rank Choice Voting Act".
80	80	SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
81	81	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 2-134 of Title 26, unless there
82	82	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
83	83	A. A ranked-choice voting method that all ows electors to rank
84	84	candidates for an offi ce in order of preference and has ballots cast
85	85	be tabulated in multiple rounds following the elimination of a

140	140	B. Any existing or future ordinance enacted or adopted by a
141	141	county, a municipali ty, or any other local governmental entity which
142	142	conflicts with this section is void .
143	143	SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
