BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 559.1 of Ti tle 57, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving fund
for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections to be designated the
"Oklahoma Department of Corrections Prison Rodeo Re volving Fund".
The fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject to fis cal year
limitations, and shall consist of all monies directed for deposit by
law. All monies accruing to the credit of said fund are hereby
appropriated and may be used for the purpos e of restoring,

rehabilitating, and expanding the prison rodeo arena of the Oklahoma
Department of Corrections. Expenditures from said fund shall be
made upon warrants issued by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections
and approved by the Office of Manageme nt and Enterprise Services.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of
Corrections from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the
General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2025, t he sum of Eight Million Three Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($8,300,000.00) to transfer to the Oklahoma
Department of Corrections Prison Rodeo Revolving Fund created
pursuant to Section 1 of this act.
SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.
SECTION 4. It being immediately necessar y for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
