72	78		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
73	79		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
74	80		codified in the Oklahoma Stat utes reads as follows:
75	81		Effective July 1, 2024, the compensation paid to each Park
76	82		Ranger of the Division of State Parks of the Oklahoma Tourism and
77	83		Recreation Department shall be increased by fifteen percent (15%).
78	84		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.
79	85		SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
80	86		of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
81		-	declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
82		-	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
