77 | 152 | B. Except as provided in subsection C of this section, | |
78 | 153 | embezzlement shall be punished as follows: | |

80 | 154 | 1. If the value of the property embezzled is less than One | |
81 | 155 | Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), any person convicted shall be guilty | |
82 | 156 | of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding One Thousand | |

130 | 253 | guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the | |
131 | 254 | Department of Corrections for a term not less than one (1) year nor | |
132 | 255 | more than ten (10) years, and a fine equal to triple the amount of | |
133 | 256 | money so embezzled and ordered to pay restitution to the victim as | |
