40	43		An Act relating to schools; directing the Oklahoma
41	44		State Department of Education to develop or acquire
42	45		and implement certain threat intervention training
43	46		program; identifying who the program shall be
44	47		designed for; directing t hat the program use certain
45	48		approach; providing for codification; and providing
46	49		an effective date.

52	55		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OK LAHOMA:
53	56		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
54	57		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 24-100.9 of Title 70, unless
55	58		there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
56	59		The Oklahoma State Department of Educatio n shall develop or
57	60		acquire and implement a training program designed to help school
58	61		staff and faculty identify a potential threat and provide an
59	62		opportunity to intervene and support a student on a path to violence
60	63		at the school. The training program shall be for staff and faculty
61	64		at the middle school through high school levels in all Okl ahoma
62	65		Districts. The training program must include a research-based
63		-	approach and incorporate predictive analytic s to efficiently
