5255 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OK LAHOMA:
5356 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5457 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 24-100.9 of Title 70, unless
5558 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5659 The Oklahoma State Department of Educatio n shall develop or
5760 acquire and implement a training program designed to help school
5861 staff and faculty identify a potential threat and provide an
5962 opportunity to intervene and support a student on a path to violence
6063 at the school. The training program shall be for staff and faculty
6164 at the middle school through high school levels in all Okl ahoma
6265 Districts. The training program must include a research-based
