BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3308.1 of Title 70, unless there 
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: 
The Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma is her eby 
authorized to establish within the College of Nursing at the 
University of Oklahoma a program for the education, training, and 
graduation of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.  Such program 
shall meet the standards set forth by the Council on Acc reditation 
of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. 
SECTION 2.  There is hereby appropriated to the Health Care 
Workforce Development Revolving Fund, created pursuant to Section

697.21b of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes, from any monies not 
otherwise appropriated from the General Revenue Fund of the State 
Treasury for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, the sum of Two 
Million Three Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($2,320,000.00) or so 
much thereof as may be necessary for the purpose of educating, 
training, and graduati ng Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists 
from the College of Nursing at the University of Oklahoma.  All 
monies accruing to the credit of s uch fund are hereby appropriated 
and may be budgeted and expended by the Health C are Workforce 
Training Commission for authorized purposes as provided in Section 1 
of this act.  Expenditures from such fund shall be made upon 
warrants issued by the State Treasurer against claims filed as 
prescribed by law with the Director of the Office of Management and 
Enterprise Services for approval and payment. 
SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024. 
SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation 
of the public peace, health or safety , an emergency is hereby 
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and 
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
