75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
76	76	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
77	77	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 291.4 of Title 74 , unless there
78	78	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
79	79	A. For the purposes of this section, “state officers” shall
80	80	mean the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Att orney General,
81	81	the Superintendent of Public Instruction, members of the Corporation
82	82	Commission, the State Treasurer, the State Auditor and In spector,
83	83	the Insurance Commissioner, and the Com missioner of Labor.
84	84	B. State officers shall be allowed a per diem in lieu of
85	85	expenses in an amount authorized by the provisions of the Internal
86	86	Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, for deductibility of ex penses for
87	87	travel while away from home without a dditional documentation for

140	140	duties within the state , in addition to the provisions of the State
141	141	Travel Reimbursement Act .
142	142	C. State officers, while performing official duties, shall be
143	143	entitled to receive reimbursement for mileage and per diem in the
144	144	same manner as provided for in Sections 291.1 and 291.1a of this
145	145	title, in addition to the provisions of the State Travel
146	146	Reimbursement Act.
147	147	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
