7575 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7676 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7777 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 291.4 of Title 74 , unless there
7878 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
7979 A. For the purposes of this section, “state officers” shall
8080 mean the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Att orney General,
8181 the Superintendent of Public Instruction, members of the Corporation
8282 Commission, the State Treasurer, the State Auditor and In spector,
8383 the Insurance Commissioner, and the Com missioner of Labor.
8484 B. State officers shall be allowed a per diem in lieu of
8585 expenses in an amount authorized by the provisions of the Internal
8686 Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, for deductibility of ex penses for
8787 travel while away from home without a dditional documentation for

140140 duties within the state , in addition to the provisions of the State
141141 Travel Reimbursement Act .
142142 C. State officers, while performing official duties, shall be
143143 entitled to receive reimbursement for mileage and per diem in the
144144 same manner as provided for in Sections 291.1 and 291.1a of this
145145 title, in addition to the provisions of the State Travel
146146 Reimbursement Act.
147147 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
