65	65	An Act relating to Oklahoma Residential Landlord and
66	66	Tenant Act; prohibiting certain denial ; providing for
67	67	exception; providing for codification; and providing

73	73	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
74	74	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
75	75	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 113.4 of Title 41, unless there
76	76	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
77	77	A landlord shall not de ny, refuse to renew, or terminate a
78	78	tenancy to a person with a lack of rental history; provided that,
79	79	the provisions of this section shall not deny a landlord from
80	80	requiring alternative remedies from a tenant in good faith.
81	81	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
