SENATE BILL 1633 By: Boren
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to Oklahoma Residential Landlord and
Tenant Act; prohibiting certain denial ; providing for
exception; providing for codification; and providing
an effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 113.4 of Title 41, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A landlord shall not de ny, refuse to renew, or terminate a
tenancy to a person with a lack of rental history; provided that,
the provisions of this section shall not deny a landlord from
requiring alternative remedies from a tenant in good faith.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
