SENATE BILL 1647 By: Weaver
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the Office of the Attorney
General; authorizing certain transfer; providing an
effective date; and declaring an emergen cy.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 202 5, the Office
of the Attorney General is authorized to transfer an amount not to
exceed the sum of Five Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($5,300,000.00) from the funds appropriated to the O ffice of the
Attorney General in Section 122 of Enrolled Senate Bill No. 1040 of
the 2nd Session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature to the Victims of
Human Trafficking and Preventio n Revolving Fund, created by Section
748.3 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, by reason where of this act shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
