An Act ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 168 By: Coleman of the Senate and McDugle of the House An Act relating to Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission; prohibiting any provision from being enacted to prohibit or limit use of refrigerant designated as federally acceptable; requiring installation of certain equipment to maintain certain standards and conditions; providing for codification; and providing an effective date . SUBJECT: Building codes and regulations BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE O F OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1000.30 of Title 59, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as fol lows: No provision of a building code, any other law, regulation, or other requirement in Oklahoma may prohibit or otherwise limit th e use of a refrigerant designated as acceptable for use pursuant to and in accordance with 42 U.S.C. 7671K; provided, any equipment containing such refrigerant is li sted and installed in acco rdance with safety standards and use conditions imposed pursuant to such designation.
