An Act relating to memorial highway and bridge 
designations; designating the SSgt. Daniel Neil 
Fannin Memorial Bridge; designating the SGT Frank A. 
Bennett Memorial Bridge; providing for codification; 
and providing an effective date. 
 
 
 
 
 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Se ction 1698.431 of Title 69, unless 
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: 
The bridge on U.S. Highway 62 crossing over Fourmile Branch east 
of Fort Gibson in Muskogee County shall be designated as the “SSgt. 
Daniel Neil Fannin Memorial Bridge ”.  The Department of 
Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that 
name to be placed on the bridge. 
SECTION 2.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1698.432 of Title 69, unless 
there is created a duplicati on in numbering, reads as follows: 
The bridge on U.S. Highway 270 in Holdenville which crosses over 
the railroad tracks east of the U.S. Highway 270 and State Highway

48 junction in Hughes Co unty shall be designated as the “SGT Frank 
A. Bennett Memorial Br idge”.  The Department of Transportation shall 
cause suitable permanent markers bearing that n ame to be placed on 
the bridge. 
SECTION 3.  This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
