7777 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7878 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7979 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5026.2 of Title 63, unless there
8080 is created a duplication in numberin g, reads as follows:
8181 The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall provide coverage under
8282 the state Medicaid program for breast pumps dispensed pursuant to a
8383 valid prescription by a physician, phy sician assistant, or advanced
8484 practice registered nurse including manual pumps, electric pumps , or
8585 battery-powered pumps. The state Medicaid program shall cover one
8686 breast pump per pregnancy in cluding tubing or other necessary par ts.

139139 Authority in order t o qualify for reimbursement. The Authority
140140 shall seek any federal approval ne cessary to implement this section.
141141 SECTION 2. This act shall become effect ive July 1, 2023.
142142 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the pr eservation
143143 of the public peace, health or safety, a n emergency is hereby
144144 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
145145 be in full force from and af ter its passage and approv al.
