65	65	An Act relating to professions and occupations;
66	66	prohibiting additional licensure by a county,
67	67	municipality, or political subdivision if individual
68	68	already received licensure from state; providing for
69	69	continuation of licensing board powers and duties;

77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6006 of Title 59, unless there
80	80	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
81	81	A. After the effective date of this act, any person licensed by
82	82	any licensing boards of this state providing licensing for
83	83	professional occupations including, but not limited to, the
84	84	following shall not be required to receive additional licensing as
85	85	may be required by any county, municipality, or political
86	86	subdivision in this state:
87	87	1. The Oklahoma Accountancy Board;

145	145	6. The State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners;
146	146	7. The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission;
147	147	8. The Real Estate Appraiser Board;
148	148	9. The Construction Industries Board ;
149	149	10. The Oklahoma Uniform Building Cod e Commission;
150	150	11. The Oklahoma Inspector Examiners Committee ; and
151	151	12. The Alarm, Locksmith and Fire Sprinkler Industry Committee .
152	152	B. Nothing in this section shall be construed to remove,
153	153	abrogate, reduce, or otherwise affect any power or duty of a
154	154	licensing board to establish or enforce licensure qualifications,
155	155	examination requirements , or disciplinary standards or procedures,
156	156	or to exercise any other power or duty of the licensing board
157	157	provided by law.
158	158	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2024.
