6565 An Act relating to prevention and control of disease;
6666 prohibiting public entities and contractors from
6767 requiring wearing of mask or face covering;
6868 prohibiting certain discrimination; providing
6969 exceptions; providing for codification; and declaring

7575 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7676 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7777 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Sec tion 1-502.5 of Title 63, unless
7878 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
7979 A. It shall be unlawful for any federal or state agency, any
8080 political subdivision, or any business under contract with a federal
8181 or state agency or political subdivision to:
8282 1. Require any resident of this state to wear a mask or face
8383 covering; or
8484 2. Discriminate against any resident of this state due to such
8585 resident’s refusal to wear a mask or face covering .
8686 B. This section shall not apply to :
8787 1. Public or private health care or long-term care settings;

139139 2. Law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical
140140 personnel, or emergency response personnel ; or
141141 3. Service members of the United States Armed Forces.
142142 SECTION 2. It being immediate ly necessary for the preservation
143143 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
144144 declared to exist, by reason wh ereof this act shall take effect and
145145 be in full force from and after its passa ge and approval.
