6565 An Act relating to prevention and control of disease;
6666 defining term; prohibiting certain mandates by state
6767 agency or political subdivision ; providing for
6868 codification; and declaring an emergency.

7373 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7474 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7575 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-502.5 of Title 63, unless
7676 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
7777 A. As used in this section , “COVID-19” means the 2019 novel
7878 coronavirus disease and any variants of the disease .
7979 B. A state agency or political subdivision may not implement,
8080 order, or otherwise impose a mandate requiring :
8181 1. A person to wear a face mask or other face covering to
8282 prevent the spread of COVID -19;
8383 2. A person to be vaccinated against COVID -19; or
8484 3. The closure of a private business, public school, or private
8585 school to prevent the spread of COVID -19.

137137 SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservati on
138138 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
139139 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
140140 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
