65	65	An Act relating to prevention and control of disease;
66	66	defining term; prohibiting certain mandates by state
67	67	agency or political subdivision ; providing for
68	68	codification; and declaring an emergency.

73	73	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
74	74	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
75	75	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-502.5 of Title 63, unless
76	76	there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
77	77	A. As used in this section , “COVID-19” means the 2019 novel
78	78	coronavirus disease and any variants of the disease .
79	79	B. A state agency or political subdivision may not implement,
80	80	order, or otherwise impose a mandate requiring :
81	81	1. A person to wear a face mask or other face covering to
82	82	prevent the spread of COVID -19;
83	83	2. A person to be vaccinated against COVID -19; or
84	84	3. The closure of a private business, public school, or private
85	85	school to prevent the spread of COVID -19.

137	137	SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservati on
138	138	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
139	139	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
140	140	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
