AS INTRODUCED 
 
An Act relating to prevention and control of disease; 
defining term; prohibiting certain mandates by state 
agency or political subdivision ; providing for 
codification; and declaring an emergency. 
 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-502.5 of Title 63, unless 
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: 
A.  As used in this section , “COVID-19” means the 2019 novel 
coronavirus disease and any variants of the disease . 
B.  A state agency or political subdivision may not implement, 
order, or otherwise impose a mandate requiring : 
1.  A person to wear a face mask or other face covering to 
prevent the spread of COVID -19; 
2.  A person to be vaccinated against COVID -19; or 
3.  The closure of a private business, public school, or private 
school to prevent the spread of COVID -19.

SECTION 2.  It being immediately necessary for the preservati on 
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby 
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and 
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
