An Act relating to county employee leave ; authorizing 
board of county commissioners to develop certain 
policy; allowing county employees to use certain 
leave to serve as a precinct official ; providing for 
codification; and declaring an emergency . 
 
 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section o f law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 180.91 of Title 19, unless there 
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: 
The board of county commissioners may develop a policy in 
accordance with the secretary of the county electio n board to 
authorize county employees to receive up to three (3) working days ’ 
paid administrative leave per calendar year for the purpose of 
serving as a precinct official pursuant to Section 2 -124 of Title 26 
of the Oklahoma Statutes, absentee voting boa rd member pursuant to 
Section 14-115.5 of Title 26 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or other

election worker authorize d by law, if the employee is qualified to 
serve in such position. 
SECTION 2.  It being immediately necessary for the preservation 
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby 
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and 
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
