55	48		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
56	49		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 47 O.S. 2021, Section 1107 .5, as
57	50		amended by Section 119, Chapter 282, O.S.L. 2022 (47 O.S. Supp.
58	51		2022, Section 1107.5), is amended to read as follows:
59	52		Section 1107.5. A. The title of a motor vehicle or boat or
60	53		motor that is not subject to any lien or other encumbrance may be
61	54		transferred in transfer-on-death form by filing with Service
62	55		Oklahoma a written notice of transfer signed by the transferor and
63	56		designating the transferee. Such notice shall transfer ownership o f
64	57		the vehicle or boat or motor to the transferee upon the death of the
65	58		transferor. The notice shall include:

93		-	1. The vehicle identification number of the vehicle or hull
94		-	identification number of the boat;
95	87		2. The number of the license plate issued to the vehicle, if
96	88		any;
97	89		3. The full name and address of the transferor;
98	90		4. The full name and address of the transferee; and
99	91		5. The signature of the transferor. The signature or consent
100	92		of or notice to the transferee shall not be required for any purpose
101	93		during the lifetime of the transferor.
102	94		B. A designation of the transferee may be revoked or changed at
103	95		any time prior to the death of the transferor by filing an amended
104	96		notice with Service Oklahoma.
105	97		C. To accept a certificate of title of a motor vehicle or boat
106	98		or motor pursuant to notice filed under subsection A of this act,
107	99		the designated transferee shall execute an affidavit verifying the
108	100		death of the transferor owner and submit to Service Oklahoma. After
109	101		the date of the transfer of the vehicle or boat or motor as
110	102		evidenced by the submitted affidavit and the records of Service
111	103		Oklahoma, Service Oklahoma shall issue a title reflecting the
112	104		transfer of ownership.
113	105		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.
