78 | 78 | | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 56 O.S. 2021, Section 230.52, is |

143 | 143 | | of twenty (20) hours per week during the month. Two -parent families |
---|
144 | 144 | | receiving temporary assistance pursuant to the TANF program shall |
---|
145 | 145 | | participate in work activities fo r a minimum of thirty -five (35) |
---|
146 | 146 | | hours per week durin g the month; |
---|
147 | 147 | | 3. A recipient must be engaged in on e or more of the work |
---|
148 | 148 | | activities set out in paragra ph 4 of this subsection as soon as |
---|
149 | 149 | | required by the Department of Human Services p ursuant to the TANF |
---|
150 | 150 | | program, but not later than twenty-four (24) months after |
---|
151 | 151 | | certification of the app lication for assistanc e, unless the person |
---|
152 | 152 | | is exempt from work requiremen ts under rules promulgated by the |
---|
153 | 153 | | Commission Director pursuant to the STARS; |
---|
154 | 154 | | 4. The Department shall d evelop and describe c ategories of |
---|
155 | 155 | | approved work activities for the TANF program recipient s in |
---|
156 | 156 | | accordance with this paragraph. Work activities that qualify in |
---|
157 | 157 | | meeting the requirements include, but are not limited to: |
---|
158 | 158 | | a. (1) unsubsidized employment which is full-time |
---|
159 | 159 | | employment or part-time employment that i s not |
---|
160 | 160 | | directly supplemented by federa l or state funds, |
---|
161 | 161 | | (2) subsidized private sector employment which is |
---|
162 | 162 | | employment in a private for -profit enterprise or |
---|

300 | 300 | | (3) instruction in conducting oneself during a job |
---|
301 | 301 | | interview, including appropriate dress, |
---|
302 | 302 | | f. job skills training which is directly related to |
---|
303 | 303 | | employment in a specific occupation for which there is |
---|
304 | 304 | | a written commitment b y an employer to offer |
---|
305 | 305 | | employment to a recipient who successfully completes |
---|
306 | 306 | | the training. Job skills training includes, but is |
---|
307 | 307 | | not limited to, customized training designed to meet |
---|
308 | 308 | | the needs of a specific employer or a specif ic |
---|

310 | 310 | | g. community service programs which are job -training |
---|
311 | 311 | | activities provided in areas where sufficient public |

380 | 380 | | 5. Single, custodial parents with a ch ild up to one (1) year of |

381 | 381 | | age may be exempt from work activ ities for a lifetime total |
---|

821 | 821 | | allow all state and federal agencies to meet the |
---|
822 | 822 | | program needs of the recipient. |
---|
823 | 823 | | b. The recipient shall be provided a release form to sign |
---|
824 | 824 | | in order to obtain the required inf ormation. Failure |
---|
825 | 825 | | to sign the release form may re sult in case closure; |
---|
826 | 826 | | and |
---|
827 | 827 | | 16. The recipient shall comply with all other conditions and |
---|
828 | 828 | | requirements of the STARS, and rules of the Commission Director |
---|
829 | 829 | | promulgated pursuant th ereto. |

830 | 830 | | B. 1. Agencies of this state involved in providing services to |
---|
831 | 831 | | recipients pursuant to the STARS shall exchange information as |

894 | 894 | | C. In implementing the TANF program, the Department shall: |

895 | 895 | | 1. Provide assistan ce to aliens pursuant to Section 230.73 of |

896 | 896 | | this title; |

897 | 897 | | 2. Provide for the closur e of the TANF case when the adult |
---|
898 | 898 | | recipient refuses to cooperate with agreed upon work activiti es or |
---|
899 | 899 | | other case requirements pursuan t to the TANF program; |
---|
900 | 900 | | 3. Provide for the sanctioning of parents who do not require |
---|
901 | 901 | | their minor children to attend school; and |
---|
902 | 902 | | 4. Deny temporary a ssistance to fugitive felons. |
---|
903 | 903 | | D. In order to ensure that the needy cit izens of this state are |
---|
904 | 904 | | receiving necessary benefits, the Department shall maint ain a |
---|
905 | 905 | | listing of all recipients receiving public assistance. The listing |
---|
906 | 906 | | shall reflect each recipient ’s income, social security number, and |
---|
