2660 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

2861 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
2962 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5 -148.4 of Title 70, unless
3063 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

3264 A. If a public school district in this state chooses to map its
3365 campus, the school district shall use the school mapping data
3466 guidelines provided for in this section. As used in this section,
3567 “school mapping data” means information provided in an electro nic or

3996 B. The school mapping data provided shall:

4197 1. Be compatible with software platforms used by local, county,
4298 state, and federal public safety agencies that provide emergency
4399 services to the specific school for which the data is provided

49102 2. Be compatible with security s oftware platforms in use by the
50103 specific school for which the data is provided without requiring
51104 public safety agencies or school districts to purchase additional
52105 software or requiring a fee to view or access the data;

54106 3. Be in a printable format and, if requested in addition to
55107 subsection A of this section, be in a digital file format that can
56108 be integrated into interactive mobile platforms in use;

58109 4. Be verified by the e ntity producing the data for accuracy by
59110 a walk-through of school buildings and grou nds;

61111 5. Be oriented true north;

63112 6. Be overlaid on current aerial imagery;

65113 7. Contain site-specific labeling that matches the structure of
66114 school buildings including room labels, hallway names, and external
67115 door or stairwell numbers and locations of hazards, critical utility
68116 locations, key boxes, automated external defibrillators, and trauma

72145 grounds including parking areas, athletic fields, surrounding roads,
73146 and neighboring properties; and

75147 9. Be overlaid with gridded “x” and “y” coordinates.

77148 C. School mapping data as defined by this section shall not be
78149 modified or updated independently without correspondin g updates to
79150 school mapping data within software platforms used by local, county,
80151 state, and federal public safety agencies that provide emergency
81152 services to the specific school.
153+SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.
154+SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
155+of the public peace, health, or safety, an eme rgency is hereby
156+declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
157+be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
