51	77		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
52	78		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
53	79		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 157 of Title 4, unless there is
54	80		created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
55	81		A. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry
56	82		shall maintain on its official website a telephone number connected
57	83		to a hotline administered and monitored by the Oklahoma Department
58	84		of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry for any damaged state-owned
59	85		fencing or state-owned fencing otherwise in disrepair.
60	86		B. The hotline shall prompt callers to provide the approximate
61	87		location of and the date in which the caller first viewed the
62	88		damaged or otherwise in disrepair state-owned fencing. The Oklahoma

	140	+	Department of Agriculture , Food, and Forestry shall attempt to
91	141		identify the appropriate state agency or institution responsible for
92	142		the fence within a week of receiving the complaint and transmit
93	143		electronically and via mail to the state agency or institution a
94	144		notification providing the ap proximate location of and the date in
95	145		which the caller first viewed the damage or disrepair.
96	146		C. The state agency or institution shall act within thirty (30)
97	147		days of receiving notification from t he Oklahoma Department of
98	148		Agriculture, Food, and Fore stry to repair the damaged or otherwise
99	149		in disrepair state-owned fencing.
100	150		D. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture , Food, and Forestry
101	151		is authorized to promulgate rules to effectuate the provisions of
102	152		this section.
103	153		SECTION 2. This act shall beco me effective November 1, 2023.
